The Watkins have been with Baptist Mid-Missions since 1987, first in Liberia, where they were forced to evacuate due to civil unrest, and later on the Ivory Coast. They are now involved in church planting among the large Liberian population on Staten Island, NY. Nate and Karol have four children.
