Good Friday Service Online, April 10th @ 7:00 PM
We will host a Good Friday service ONLINE at 7:00pm this Friday! We will join together in song and look into God’s Word as we remember the broken body and shed blood of Jesus on the cross.

Make plans to join us on Facebook or view on our website at www.firstmedina.org/livestream.

Online Communion – The Lord’s Supper

We’ll also join together, even in separation, in taking the Lord’s Supper. This will be unique for many of us as participating in the Lord’s Supper has only been done in a church building. Due to the fact that we are truly unable to meet together, we desire to have you participate in this with your family. While we believe the Lord’s Supper is an ordinance for the local church, as we have talked about, the church is not defined by a building, nor is the method of the Lord’s Supper what is of utmost importance, but the meaning behind it. To help with making clear what the meaning of the Lord’s Supper is all about, check out this video.

The elements of the Lord’s Supper – the juice and the bread – are items that are used as tangible symbols of the body of Jesus (bread) that was broken and the blood of Jesus (juice) that was shed for our sin. We encourage you and your family to use these items (or items similar that you have available to you) on Friday evening. As we join together, we hope you will be reminded that partaking of the Lord’s Supper at the same time, as a church, even in separation, is no less real then if we were gathering in-person in our building.
